LaSalle Realty established its mortgage banking operation in 1991 and began its Health Care Group
in 1998. We are committed to total client satisfaction by applying our contacts, skills, assertiveness
and perseverance necessary to insure closing of each transaction.  
We specialize in placing debt and equity for acquisitions, refinancing and development  for Nursing
homes, ALFs Hospitals and Senior housing. We are also active in financing Apartment, Retail, Office,
Industrial- warehouse, Hotel and other properties.  
Our funding source come from a tight group of Wall Street Conduits, Life Companies, Pension Funds,
Specialty REITs, Commercial Banks and Credit Corps.  The typical loan sizes range from $3 to $26
million.  LaSalle Realty's other activities include property development and management.



Lawrence Yablong a principal at LaSalle, has a history of demonstrated accomplishments, diligence
and financial creativity.  Since the 1982, Mr. Yablong has been involved in arranging over $2.0 billion in
real estate transactions.  LaSalle's experience with diverse investors and developers has involved
property financings covering nine states and institutional investors including commercial banks, thrifts,
credit cos., life insurance, pension funds and other investors.

Prior to LaSalle Realty, Mr. Yablong was a real estate investment banker at Merrill Lynch Capital
Markets in its Corporate Finance Group.   He was involved in the private placement of mortgage and
joint venture financings, as well as the underwriting of financings including Limited Partnerships,
REITs, MLP, commercial paper, secured and subordinated debt for clients including Olympia & York,
Trammel Crow, Westin Hotels, Beverly Enterprises and National Healthcare.

Mr. Yablong began his real estate finance career with the Landauer Associates of New York City in its
Transaction Group where he was involved in private placements of major transactions including
property sales, financing, leasing and acquisition.  Including the sale of the General Motors, NY Daily
News and PanAm Buildings.  He also acted as a field appraiser and performed market studies for
investors and developers where he earned credits towards an Appraiser (MAI).

Mr. Yablong received his M.B.A. in finance with honors from the University of Chicago in 1982, and a BS
in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1978 where he was elected to
the honor society and was also New England gymnastics champion on the still rings.  At New Trier
High School he was active in the Boy Scouts and held the rank of Eagle Scout.   Mr. Yablong lives in
Chicago with his wife and two children and is a vice president of his synagogue.
